Material guide / Richmond BC
Vinyl wrap and colour PPF can both transform a vehicle, but they differ in thickness, impact resistance, finish selection, installation time, and cost.
Vehicle-specific planning
Vinyl wrap is primarily selected for a reversible colour or finish change and offers a broad range of styling options. Colour PPF combines a new appearance with a thicker protective construction intended to resist common road impacts more effectively. The right choice depends on the vehicle, desired finish, driving exposure, ownership plans, and budget.

Planning your project
Film, coverage, surface condition, and timing are confirmed after the vehicle and intended result have been reviewed.
Neither material is universally better. Vinyl offers wider styling flexibility in a thinner film, while colour PPF is selected when a colour change and greater impact resistance are both priorities.
Colour PPF generally has higher material and installation costs. Vehicle size, body complexity, film selection, paint condition, and disassembly requirements affect every quote.
Vinyl generally offers the broader range of colours, textures, and specialty finishes. Colour PPF selection continues to expand, with gloss, satin, matte, metallic, and colour-shifting options available by brand.
